Steps
Step 1
Gather your materials and make sure you have everything you need ready to use.
Step 2
Decorate a white sheet of paper to create the pattern for your desk tidy. We have used paint, but you could use felt tip pens, colouring pencils or coloured paper.
Step 3
Glue or tape two cereal boxes together.
Step 4
Draw a diagonal line on each side of the cereal boxes and cut out to form a lower part and an upper part as in the photo. This is your desk tidy, now you just have to decorate it!
Step 5
Start by decorating the inside with coloured paper.
Step 6
Line the outside of the boxes with your decorated patterned paper.
Step 7
You could also create a divider by folding some of the leftover card from your cereal boxes, as in the photo. Cover your divider in your patterned paper to match the outside.
Step 8
And there you go! Your desk tidy is ready to use! A pretty desk accessory, perfect for storing notebooks, notepads, pens and other stationery and having everything close to hand!
