Learn to draw an elephant

We love learning to draw new things. You can learn to draw animals by following our tutorial, it’s an easy and fun activity to do whatever your ability. By drawing the outline of your hand, we can create lots of animals like an elephant in the jungle.

You will need

White paper
Felt tip pens
Pencils
Colouring pencils

Steps

Step 1

Gather your materials.

Step 2

Place your closed left hand with the thumb sticking out on your white sheet of paper and trace the outline with a marker.

Step 3

You have the outline of your elephant. Can you see it?

Step 4

Draw a tail, ears, eyes, mouth and legs for your elephant.

Step 5

Draw the jungle around your elephant with felt tip pens.

Step 6

Colour in with your felt tip pens or colouring pencils. Your elephant is complete!
