It’s that time of year again where we celebrate all things stationery and prove that writing matters. In an increasingly digital world, it’s important to put down those screens and keep the art of handwriting alive. So if you’re a stationery addict, pick up your pens and pencils and take a look at some of our ideas to help you celebrate National Stationery Week!
Get Creative
Creativity doesn’t end with drawing and art. To celebrate Creativity Day on 15th May, why not try your hand at some creative writing? Pick up your favourite pen and let your imagination run wild by creating your own story or poems. If you’re feeling arty, you could even add illustrations!
Get Organised
The key to being productive is staying organised. Whether it’s for work, home or college, it helps to get your thoughts on to paper and prioritise your plans. Using coloured pens or highlighters on your notes and creating to do lists can help you to focus on what’s important and organise your time more effectively.
Be Mindful
You don’t have to be the next Picasso to enjoy expressing yourself through drawing. Simple mindfulness exercises such as sketching or doodling can help you relax and destress in a creative way.
Get Personal
If you feel bogged down with emails and text messages, why not try a digital detox? Reach out to your loved ones and handwrite a letter to a friend or family member and let them know you’re thinking of them. It’s always more thoughtful and appreciated!
Celebrate sustainability
It’s becoming increasingly important to take care of our planet, and that includes the stationery you use too! Our products are made from FSC certified materials sourced from responsibly managed forests, such as the wood used in our coloured and graphite pencils and the natural rubber in our erasers. What’s more, all of our products are packaged in plastic free packaging!
