How to Make a Pumpkin Garland

If you’re planning on having a Halloween party, or even just looking for a way to celebrate with your family, why not try making your very own pumpkin garland decoration? Perfect for creating that spooky atmosphere!

You will need

  • check

    Leftover cardboard

  • check

    String

  • check

    Colouring pencils

  • check

    Felt tip pens

  • check

    Glue

  • check

    Pencil

  • check

    Scissors

Steps

Step 1

Start by drawing a pumpkin in pencil on the cardboard then carefully cut it out using your scissors

Step 2

Use your pumpkin as a template to draw around to create more pumpkins!

Step 3

Once all the pumpkins have been cut out, you can start decorating them as you wish using your felt tip pens. You could create different pumpkin faces or why not get in the Mexican spirit with a Day of the Dead style!

Step 4

Apply a drop of glue on the back of the pumpkins on the “stem” part.

Step 5

Place the string on top and let the glue dry, holding the string down tightly.

 

Repeat for the other pumpkins, leaving the same space between each pumpkin.

Step 6

At each end of the String, tie a small knot so you can hang it!
