Learn to draw a Giraffe

We love learning to draw new things. You can learn to draw animals by following our tutorial, it’s an easy and fun activity to do whatever your ability. By drawing the outline your hand, we can create lots of animals like a giraffe in the Savannah.

You will need

White paper
Felt tip pens
Pencils
Colouring pencils

Steps

Step 1

Gather your materials.

Step 2

Place your left hand on the white sheet with your little finger and index finger out. Trace the outline with a pencil.

Step 3

You have the outline of your giraffe. Can you see it?

Step 4

Draw ears, eyes, a mouth, nostrils and spots on your giraffe.

Step 5

Draw the Savannah in the background behind your giraffe.

Step 6

Colour in with your felt tip pens or colouring pencils. Your giraffe is complete!
