If you’re planning on having a Halloween party, or even just looking for a way to celebrate with your family, why not try making your very own pumpkin garland decoration? Perfect for creating that spooky atmosphere!
Leftover cardboard
String
Colouring pencils
Felt tip pens
Glue
Pencil
Scissors
Start by drawing a pumpkin in pencil on the cardboard then carefully cut it out using your scissors
Use your pumpkin as a template to draw around to create more pumpkins!
Once all the pumpkins have been cut out, you can start decorating them as you wish using your felt tip pens. You could create different pumpkin faces or why not get in the Mexican spirit with a Day of the Dead style!
Apply a drop of glue on the back of the pumpkins on the “stem” part.
Place the string on top and let the glue dry, holding the string down tightly.
Repeat for the other pumpkins, leaving the same space between each pumpkin.
At each end of the String, tie a small knot so you can hang it!
Happy Halloween!
