With a few supplies we all have around the house, create funny paper monsters to decorate the house this Halloween. Kids can have hours of fun imagining, creating and personalising different little paper monsters. An ideal activity to develop children’s imaginations and also allows them to use several creative techniques including cutting, sticking and colouring.

Take sheets of white paper. With a pencil, draw different shapes of eyes, glasses, mouths, eyebrows or teeth.
You can draw them in different sizes and with as many expressions as you want.
Colour the shapes with colored pencils. You can accentuate certain details with markers.
Cut out all the shapes you have created.
On coloured sheets, draw shapes for the bodies of your monsters. Don’t be afraid to create weird shapes. Be creative!
Then cut out all of these new shapes.
If you don’t have any coloured sheets, draw the shapes on white sheets and then colour them.
Using coloured pens and pencils add details to your monsters. You could add spots, arms or even wings !
Glue the shapes of the eyes, mouth and teeth onto the bodies of your monsters.
And there you have it, you have created funny little paper monsters!
